Create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of your salvation to me, and give me a willing spirit.

Mistakes

Everyone makes mistakes. Focus on living right instead of focusing on avoiding mistakes. Never fear making mistakes, because God is bigger than your mistakes! Fear God (in a healthy way) and THANK Jesus for covering ALL your mistakes, and for growing you and teaching you. Receive His compassion for you, have compassion on yourself, and share this same compassion with others.

Never beat-up yourself because of your mistakes, and thereby crush your spirit and separate yourself from God and others. Learn from your mistakes, increase your spiritual sensitivity, and then you will be less likely to repeat mistakes (this is called "repentance"). If you overly focus on yourself and your mistakes, you'll get more. If you focus on God and His love, you'll make fewer mistakes and you'll be heading the right direction. What you focus on you become. Don't make yourself and your mistakes an idol. Focus on and worship God. Let him cleanse your soul, receive His love and acceptance of you, and spread it to others.

If you are focused on self-judgments and self-anger you may also be avoiding making your other relationships stronger; or you may be stuck in a type of self-pity for your faults which distracts you from focusing on doing your best. Or, it may be that anger at yourself or others makes you feel alive, or important or somehow in control  Let it go. Be humble. You are just a human. Forgive, give up self-blame and shame and give up blaming or shaming others.

If you harmed someone else, make amends without demanding or expecting any particular response (positive or negative) from the other person. You demonstrate your willingness to repair the situation to the best of your ability; and do your best to honor the other person and make it right. You are now walking in love and honoring others instead of walking in guilt or resentment, making yourself and others wrong. Focus on who you wish to be, and move ahead.

Always choose love. It is more important to "be love" than to "be right". It is more important to "be love" than to let anyone (yourself included) beat-up on you or abuse you or knock you off course. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Love Him. Love yourself. Love others. When we know we are loved, we are safe, and we won't be condemned for failing, we actually grow faster. If it is difficult to go straight to "being love" then start with being grateful. What are you grateful for about/from God, yourself, your life, the other person, the situation? Find a sincere feeling of gratitude -- and offer it up to God as worship and hold it in your heart.

    new heart

We are made in the likeness of God. Jesus was begotten not made.

When we are Spirit Birthed in Jesus we become new creatures.

To manifest our new Being we allow the Holy Spirit and the Word to change our thinking, feelings, consciousness, subconscious & actions.

What you focus on is what you become and manifest. So, focus on  Jesus. WORSHIP God. Be present in Holy Spirit.
