Tips from Christopher Cook about controlling your thoughts:
“I have to manage my soul and nourish my body. I have to realize that my soul and body get exhausted before my spirit does.” If you think a negative / false thought, notice it and capture it. Don't dwell on the negative / false thought, because if you entertain the false thought, you'll talk yourself into it as if it were real, then you'll start behaving as if it were real, and you'll create that reality!

"How can you expect answers to your prayers? Four imperatives must be followed: abide, ask, believe, and receive... ABIDE: Jesus says abiding is the key to successful praying. "If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." ...if you are abiding in Christ -- if your life is yielded to Him and His Word is abiding in you so that you know His will -- you can ask anything you want because your will is to do His will... ASK: Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Everyone who asks receives; he who seek finds; and he who knocks, the door will be opened." BELIEVE: Jesus promises in Matthew 21:22, "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." Believing is at the heart of answered prayer. But how do you get this faith to believe? Should you try to work up some kind of state of mind that will in some way equal faith? Of course not. God does not require you to have great faith. You simply are to have faith in a great God. Jesus says: "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there" and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." RECEIVE: By faith, claim the answer to your request. If you know you are abiding in Christ and are controlled by the Holy Spirit and are praying according to the Word and will of God, you can expect God to answer your prayer. So be prepared to receive the answer. Imagine right now that you are receiving the answer to your request, and begin to thank God for it... It is a simple fact that whatever you vividly envision, ardently desire, sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass -- assuming, of course, that there is scriptural authority for it.
Confession for peace: 1. Believe 2. Speak 3. Pray 4. Learn 5. Apply Thank You, Lord, for Your peace that passes all understanding. No matter what I may be facing, I don't have to fear, because You are always with me. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make my requests known to God. God’s peace which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus." Because Your Word is truth, I know that I don't have to fret or have anxiety about anything. That means everything in my life has to line up with what Your Word says. I'm not moved by what I see, because I'm trusting what Your Word says! Your peace, which is beyond my understanding, is present and evident in my heart and mind, continually working on my behalf. 
Excellent video from King & Hotchkin: "You are WAY more powerful than you realize. Win the battle for your mind, will and emotions." Every "fact" that doesn't line up with God's word is actually a lie. You are whole. You are well. Here are the notes:
"Real faith is built on the Word. We should meditate on the Word: Dig deeply into it and feed on it. Then, the Word will become a part of us just as natural food becomes a part of our physical bodies when we eat. We must feed upon the Word until acting on the Word is all we want to do." From KCM.org
From KCM 12.2018 Letter: Spiritual forces are stronger than physical power. (e.g., Faith/fear, love/hate, life/death, blessing/curse). "Red-hot", earnest, persistent, expectation is hope (future). But FAITH is NOW.
Isaiah 26:3 says "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, and whose thoughts are fixed on you." Notice your thoughts - what are you thinking about most of the time? He'll keep you in perfect peace when you keep your mind on Him. Your focus is to please Him in what you do, think, and say, and He will bless you with peace of mind and heart.
