"Which is the most important of all the commandments?"

Jesus said, "The first in importance is, ' Listen Israel: The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.'"

"And here is the second: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.'"

                                                                                                                                            Mark 12:28-31 The Message Bible

Holy Spirit, guide and direct me in choosing the right type of prayer at the appropriate time and guide me in how to pray it. I praise You, I thank You, for teaching me how to release prayers that will strike the mark without fail, in Jesus' great name.

Here are some additional prayer lessons from James Goll:

Goll Blog "Waring over your prophetic promises
".
(1) Persevere; (2) Pray the promise; (3) Strengthen yourself; (4) Depend on God.

More tips: (1) Know & speak the word; (2) your conversation must reflect the mentality of a conqueror; (3) take authority over evil/ accuser; (4) be clothed in Jesus (spiritual armor); (5) fast; (6) learn from others; (7) REST.

Excerpt:
How to Wage War:
The solution is in experiencing the truth of Romans 12:1-2 and Ephesians 4:20-24.

a. Fill your mind with God's Word (memorize Scripture).
b. Make affirmations of your Christian identity.
c. According to Philippians 4:8 we are to fill our minds with "Whatsoever things are lovely."
d. Challenge every negative and destructive thought the instant it enters your mind and evaluate it in light of the Word.
e. Learn to turn the receiver off, and turn off all thoughts that are contrary to the Word of God (see Philippians 4:8-9).

A brief summary: Our warfare is aimed at dismantling and tearing down the sinful reasoning and rationalizations which are strongholds. By these the mind fortifies itself against the Gospel. Taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, ideas, notions and plans are taken over and transformed as they come into a new allegiance.
