Find a quiet place to yourself and express your love to Father God. Share your heart with Him. Let Him know how you feel. If you feel distant from Him, tell Him that, and get ready to feel His embrace. As you are sharing your heart with Him, remind yourself that He hears every precious word you say to Him, because He does.
When you finish sharing your heart with Him, spend some time to worship and praise Him. You see, God longs for your embrace too. And when you share your heart with Him, and when you worship and praise Him, that is you embracing your Father. -- Ryan Bruss, Sid Roth's On-line School of Ministry

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:4-9 1. Rejoice = cause to joy or experience joy. Be silent, ask Jesus to fill you with His joy, right now, believe it and go into that joyful, rejoicing place. 2. Don't be anxious. If anxiety tries to take over your thoughts, gently direct your thoughts back to rejoicing and feeling Jesus's joy. 3. Make requests with thanksgiving to Yahweh. THEN PEACE WILL GURAD YOUR HEART; AND PEACE WILL GUARD YOUR MIND. Practice maintaining your mindset and feelings, then God will give you His peace (no matter your circumstances). Meditate on, visualize and apply to yourself, this beautiful quote from Justice Frangipane (written after he had broken his neck): "If I am going to stand up to fear I know that it’s not up to me to win that daily battle. It’s not the demon Fear vs Justice the human. It’s the demon Fear vs the God Almighty, He who created the heavens and the earth with His voice. The God Almighty, who has created me for a purpose stands in opposition to Fear. Our humility is meant to keep us standing behind God in the battle and not in front. He is able and as long as I remember I am weak I am shielded. I am a soldier in Gods army and I am under direct orders to be strong and courageous even though I am weak and afraid."
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”--Psalm 103:1-5
Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen - Hebrews 11:1 TPT
We are sometimes led to step out in faith. There is a time when something has ended, an era is over, but the new beginning isn't here yet. The space between the old and the new is a beautiful space to REST in Him, FOCUS on Him, and be thankful. Enjoy the gap. You'll always remember your time with Jesus in that place. Open your heart, ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you might be in the gap, meditate on it, with a grateful, trusting heart.

"Jesus is God’s autobiography in human flesh. The Bible is God’s autobiography in written form.
For this reason, from the earliest days of our faith, Jesus-followers have called Scripture the written Word of God while calling Jesus the living Word of God." -- Frank Viola Ground yourself in the safety and power of Yahweh by visualizing and meditating on these:
You are my mighty rock, my fortress, my protector, the rock where I am safe, my shield, my powerful weapon, and my place of shelter. Psalm18:2 (CEV) You are my rock and my fortress; lead and guide me for the sake of Your name. Psalm 31:3 ...everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. Matthew 7:24-25 |
