Sometimes there is no way, no how, to still your mind or body. That's a perfect time to commune with God. Notice every thought that pops into your head or heart, and just see yourself offering that thought up to God, then the next one, then the next one. If it is a thought of a task you need to complete, ask for His help and maybe write it down. If it is a negative or painful thought about something, someone or a situation, ask for Him to show you what to do, release it to Him, and maybe write it down. Whatever pops into your head or heart, release it to Him. If you need to walk around, or swing your arms or drum your fingers to focus, that is fine. When your mind and heart quiet down a bit, then thank Him, and just continue your day, and ENJOY Being in His presence.
Here is Psalm 71:1-3 (MSG): I run for dear life to God, I’ll never live to regret it. Do what you do so well: get me out of this mess and up on my feet. Put your ear to the ground and listen, give me space for salvation. Be a guest room where I can retreat; you said your door was always open! You’re my salvation—my vast, granite fortress.
